The 5S Blitz Workshop compresses improvement analysis, design and implementation around 5S into approximately 2 days. Gain an appreciation of 5S tools and methodologies whilst establishing a base for standardising and sustaining a 5S program.

The Workshop
Participants are provided with training through a preparatory workshop to introduce the key concepts of 5S, explain the 5S Blitz approach and carry out planning prior to the Blitz event. With 5 to 6 key staff attending a pilot initiative is selected where the team can discuss objectives, timing, process and scope.
Through a team based project the second and third workshops provide an avenue for the team to perform a 5S Blitz covering the first 3S's. The workshop is all about action including: planning changes, implementing actions, measuring and presenting outcomes.
The final part of the workshop focuses on "Standardisation" and "Sustain" elements. Procedural issues are reviewed and checked for alignment against organisational processes. Outstanding actions and changes requiring documentation are finalised.
In conclusion, a follow up visit finalises the program to clarify opportunities for improvement and document outcomes and future requirements.

The 5S blitz is an ideal format for all shop floor personnel, engineers and leaders to discover 5S and will also provide useful insights for staff at management level. This workshop needs to be held at your site for hands on project implementation. The training component requires a room with data projector and space for workshop activities for up to 8 people.
